Away we go !!

I'm not exactly a photographer, I just love taking pictures.

To get a good photos it took me more than one snaps so some times I end up with a lot of nice photos that I want to put on scrapbook layout .

To fix that problem I always do a mini album for special occasions or a set of photos that won't fit all in one layout.

This is mini album that I made contains photos of us went to have breakfast in Moab,UT.

On this mini I stay with pinkish theme it wasn't any special occasion but it was our very sweet date  :P

To make this minialbum I cut out pattern paper from Pebbles inc and MyMindsEye fold them in half. Stack all of them together then sewn center of the book.

This mini album is kinda too puffy so I use cloth pin to close it.

Let's look inside.

Add a little detail by sewn hearts in center of the book.

It's pretty simple and easy mini album ( as usual )

Another project is a page of polaroid camera's photos that I found in Thrift Store.

Love all their sketch so much inspiration :)

That's it !!

See you next year !!!

It's old photo since  summer 2009  that I have not put scrapbook it.

Made my own pinwheel love how  it easy to make and turn out really cute.

----------------------------------

Still have a lot of photos that pile up in the shoes box and can't get them all on layout it's might be the time for me to start putting them in mini albums.

The sun is out and I still need to do a little more of shopping since didn't get enough stuff from Santa.

Have a nice day and thank you for stopping by.

Simple and Easy.

Today I have to share with you is my recent mini album that I just made. It's very easy and simple. Took me less than 30 mins.

I had these photos of my friend and I when we went to Arches National park in Moab,UT.

We took a lot of photos but I had some of my favorite that I want to put them together into mini album.

" Wonderful Moab "

Simple cover just and I add a compass charm on it, give some more detail on this mini.

Layered flash cards.

Love this picture because of the view behind us is phenomenon.

I can jump really high , you know ?

A huge rock wall.

I sew a little ruffle on this page isn't it cute?

Beside this mini album I also make a Happy new year card to submit for Scrapbooktrends Create Blog

It's a really bright and cheerful color.

I actually have a feeling like that's how my 2012 going to be.

What did you eat ?

I don't know since when I start taking photos of my food at dinner table.

Probably since they invented digital cameras

and I figured that there is an option called " Macro" on it which make photos of your food look really great !!

So I took photo of my food a lot by a lot mean almost every meals except a bowl of cereal in the morning.

I usually post them on Facebook but since I have Instagram app on my  iPhone I'm get even crazier about taking photos of my daily life not just food ( but mainly food still lol )

I had in mind that I'd make a mini album just for food that I ate and write notes about them that way I can remember what to order and where to eat.

Seems like American Crafts and Ann -Marie heard my thought, so they have a challenge that you get to  use photos of tweets from you twitter on you project.

and  this is what I did with mine photos.

" Eat out a lot ! "

Yes, that's what we do in my family since I'm not very good cook so we eat out A LOT !!

This mini album I made using White card stock and and just to make the pages not too plain I sew around them. Pretty easy except when it comes to that rounded corner.

All the food photos I print it out in 1.5 x 1.5 inches. Not too big but it fits just perfect on this 6 x 4 album.

Some pages I add trim and badge to give it more dimension.

A simple pattern paper can be very unique and more detail when you punched them with border punch.

I use up a lot of my scrap papers on this project by mix and match colors.

I don't have title on every pages on mini album but I love to use this label to tell story about photos.

That's mine how about you ?

What did you eat ?

P.S.

If you are on Instagram  don't forget to follow me @tinynatt

It's going to be snowstorm here in Denver tomorrow so I'll have more time to stay in and be creative whoo hoo !!

Christmas Project Part 3

As Christmas is getting closer I still haven't get my hubby anything and because he's kind of a guy that never needed anything ( he said it's because he's already have everything he wanted = me ) It's even hard harder for me to find the right presents for him and also he said the best gift for him every occasions is me to stop spending money lmao !!!

So Yesterday I went to Walmart and the next door to Walmart is " Archiver's " so I swing by in there and I found October Afternoon Farmhouse Collection that I've been waiting for !! I try not to drool all over the papers but they are so yummy. Too bad at Archivers they didn't get the whole line what they missing is Buttons, Splinklers, Rub-ons and 8x8 Paper pad otherwise I'd be happier.

Anyway so I bought everything they have for  this line and though it would be a good idea to make my hubby somethings.

So this is what I made.

It's coupons for him on each one of them I wrote down somethings like 20 minutes  massage etc ( can't say much here since it's Christmas surprise )

I made a box for coupons which is so super easy I'll be doing tutorial for this box soon.

I used a lot of stitching technique on this project.

For these coupons they are 2 1/2 x 4 paper that I cut from left over vanilla BBP that left over from last project ,cut them up, punch all four corners and I sew pattern paper on then then embellish.

Let's have a closer look

" You are my everything " Circle scallop punch and circle sticker from Farmhouse collection. Sentiments using Authentique words stickers.

" Love you " Punch heart from pattern papers then sew on top of a coupon and use Kraft Fun day from My minds eye as sentiment.

" You're so sweet " Button in Miscellany from Random Collection and stamp sentiment.

" Love " Sew trim on coupon the punch a heart and saw it on. Use mini market alpha as sentiment.

"In Love" Cut felt then sew on coupon make sure you leave the top part open insert coupons from Miscellany. Then use mini market as sentiment.

" Living" Sew trim on to coupon make a little ruffle from it to give more dimension. Then adhere word sticker.

"Family " Spray chipboard shapes from miscellany then ink the edge. Splattered ink ,sew trim and adhere sentiment and embellishment using pop up tape.

That's it for this project. Really easy and quick but turned out really cute. I figured that it's easier when you use the same collection on one project because they coordinated really great !!

Have a nice day.

Christmas Project Part 2

Isn't it hard to find Christmas gifts for people around you ?
It's have always been my big problem. I always have a hard time finding the right gift for others and also I do not want to waste money and get something that they won't like.

For me nothing is better than handmade items that exclusively for you.

Base on my own though instead of traditionally go out and buy gifts for friends and family I decided to make a card for every each one of the.

Gotta admit it's a hold lot of work lol

But I love very minutes I spent working on it.

So here are cards that I made.

#1 Instead of traditional red and green christmas color I use this Crate paperRandom collection along with Thickers and a piece of paper I cut out from old dictionary.

#2 This cute little card using silver stickler and twine on white card stock.

#3 Mixing last year Christmas collection from Crate paper Snowday Collection with Peppermint collection it's perfect fit.

#4 Stitching around the card add some handmade feeling in to it. Then I use chipboard stickers along with border sticker form Peppermint collection.

#5 My favorite technique Ink Splattered. Mr.Huey white mister and a small label made form Dymo Labels maker. Give a little more detail on this card with border punch from EK Success

#6 I didn't have time to get October Holiday style collection in hand and I saw this red chevron pattern paper on it so I decided to make my own paper by using zigzag border punch. Turned out just the way I wanted !!!

#7 I'm dying to use some tags on this project so it's not enough space on there and to have more details on the card I decided to make a vellum envelope for it.

#8 I have some felt in my stack so I cut it out in Christmas tree shape and glue red stars confetti on it. Simply cute.

# 9 I recently bought a music book from thrift store to make a garland but they are so cute I just can't resist using it on the card so i use scallop punch and adhere patterned papers that punched in circle and add a little stickle in the center.

Let's have a closer look !!

#10 This simple but yet cute card using Chipboard stickers and pattern paper from Peppermint collection .

#11 The idea for this card had been in my mind for a long time finally I get to put them together and make it happen. Adhere pattern paper for the base and sew vellum on top filled with stars confetti. Viola !!

#12 Pattern paper from Snowday collection and Staz-on ink stamp on fabric then just sew it on the card.

#13 Corrugated paper add more texture on the card and I sew around the card.

#14 Card using circle punch on old dictionary and snowflake punch on pattern paper.

A closer look with silver stickle.

#15 Mist-able wood alpha by Pink Paislee misted with Grren Mr.Huey mist goes perfectly with the Amy tan pattern paper.

Add more details with trim from October Afternoon Sidewalk trim and sew butterflies on it.

#16 A lot of stars on this card :P Punch with different sizes star punch adhere them around the card. I splattered those colors after stars ... bad move :( because I got some ink on stars so I have to peel some off the adhere new stars on the card.

#17 Corrugated paper misted with spraying and Sparkle Thicker.

with more detail using circle punch on pattern paper and music sheet.

#18 I just have a feeling that white goes really well on kraft paper. I use Hambly Print white run-ons and puffy Thicker for sentiment. Sew 3 stripe on the button and adhere buttons on it.

That's it for today !!

P.S. I found a perfect place in the house to take photos of my projects wooo hoooo !!
